For the first few minutes of the game against USC, Arizona football looked poised, determined and not like the same team we have seen since Pac-12 conference play started. That would all end with two key plays: an Anu Solomon interception and a failed fourth and short run by Orlando Bradford. Momentum killed Arizona at the Coliseum.
The defense played well and got to the quarterback. Anu Solomon threw three touchdown passes and Casey Skowron nailed field goals consistently. And yet, somehow, Arizona walked away with another loss, another disappointment.
Players of the Game:
Offense: Anu Solomon, 31-46 passing attempts, three touchdowns, one interception, 352 yards
