The team did move, but a spot down, ending up in ninth entering today’s final round.
The Wildcats shot 7 over on the day to bring their overall score to 17 over.
Freshman Roberto Galleti, the lone bright spot for Arizona thus far, posted his second consecutive even round, moving up eight spots on the individual leaderboard. He sits in a ninth-place tie.
Senior Creighton Honeck had the best round of the day for Arizona, going 1 under to climb 18 spots. The performance followed a 4-over first round, leaving him in 30th place.
The CordeValle Collegiate is being played on the par-72, 7,119-yard Championship Tees course.
