The No. 10 Arizona softball team will make its 24th consecutive bid in the NCAA postseason but for the first time in three years, its regional appearance will be at home. Rita Hillenbrand Memorial Stadium will play host one of 16 double elimination regionals around the country.
Oklahoma State, an at-large bid, Hofstra University, Colonial Athletic League champion, and Cornell University, the Ivy League champion, are the other three teams joining the Wildcats in the Tucson regional.
The Wildcats (43-11, 12-8 Pacific 10 Conference) will take on Cornell at 6 p.m. on Saturday following the Oklahoma State and Hofstra matchup that will be at 4 p.m.
