The puck dropped Wednesday night for a
matchup between the Arizona Wildcats and Arizona State Sun Devils and it was a long well fought game that resulted in a win for the Wildcats, 6-4, making them 3-0 on the season.
Three wins on the season wouldn’t be the only three Arizona
saw that night because freshman Anthony Cusanelli scored the first Arizona
hat trick of the season. Cusanelli’s last goal was also the difference maker as
it came in the final two minutes to give Arizona the lead they would hold onto.
Josh Larson added to the lead with an empty net goal to secure the win.

Ethan Stahlhuth notched the other two to give
Arizona the 6-4 win over ASU. Arizona plays ASU three more times during the
season, but will be focusing on their next opponent Missouri State.
Arizona
will be playing their next three games in Gilbert, Ariz. before
heading off to Colorado. The Wildcats will be back at the Tucson Convention Center on Thursday, Oct. 26 against the No.1 ranked team
in Division I ACHA, Central Oklahoma.
