Two teenagers were found with an open bottle of rum and a 9-year-old boy dressed up as a girl Sunday night after they were pulled over for speeding at North Tyndall Avenue and East University Boulevard, reports stated.

Police pulled the teenagers over around 8 p.m. and saw a half full bottle of rum at the passenger’s feet. There was a 9-year-old sitting on the passenger’s lap.

The passenger admitted to drinking and said the rum was his. He said the 9-year-old was his sister.

When police asked the child for a name, the child gave a girl’s name. Police called the 9-year-old’s mother so the child could be picked up.

The mother told police she did not have a daughter and had two sons. Police told the mother the 9-year-old had long hair and was wearing a dress.

The mother told police her older son was a cross dresser and said he had probably dressed up the boy. She said her younger son was probably wearing a wig. Police removed the 9-year-old’s wig and saw he was a boy.

The boy apologized for lying and said he had dressed himself.

The two teenagers were cited for having an open container of alcohol in a car. The older brother was also cited for underage drinking.

The two brothers were released to their mother, reports stated.

A man was booked into Pima County Jail Monday morning after police pulled him over for trying to turn left against a no-left-turn signal at North Euclid Avenue and East Eighth Street, reports stated.

Police pulled the man over around 10:30 a.m. Police ran a records check on the man and saw he had a suspended license and a warrant out for his arrest.

The man was arrested and the car was secured and left at the scene, reports stated.

A man riding a motorcycle was arrested Monday night after police saw him riding without eye protection near East Speedway Boulevard and North Olsen Avenue, reports stated.

Police noticed the man around 7 p.m. and pulled him over. Police told the man that in Arizona he had to have eye protection if his motorcycle did not have a windshield.

The man said, “”I want your agency number and provider,”” reports stated. Police asked the man for some identification.

The man once again told police he wanted an agency number and provider. The man was told police needed to see his ID first.

The man just stared at police and said nothing, reports stated.

Police again asked the man for ID and told him he could be arrested for not providing it.

The man held out his hands to be handcuffed and said nothing.

Police arrested the man for failing to provide ID and handcuffed him. Police then asked the man to sit on the curb.

The man said no and said he would rather sit in the police car.

Police found the man’s wallet with his ID in it. The man was then released.

As the man left he apologized and pulled out eye goggles from a pouch on his bike, reports stated.

A UA employee backed into a parking sign Monday night in the Circle K parking lot, 977 E. Speedway Blvd., reports stated.

Police arrived around 10:15 p.m. The employee’s car had scuffs on the right rear bumper. The parking sign did not seem to be damaged.

The UA employee said he had told the Circle K employees what had happened, reports stated.

Two students were cited for underage drinking early Sunday morning after police saw them stumbling near East South Campus Drive and North Park Avenue, reports stated.

Police approached the students around 3 a.m.

One of the students at first told police he had not been drinking, but then said he had a couple of beers.

The other student was having trouble standing and almost fell on the sidewalk, but caught himself in time.

Police escorted the students back to their dorm and one of the students said, “”Thanks a lot, you fuck,”” reports stated.

Feces were smeared on a student’s car Sunday morning while it was parked at Alpha Chi Omega, 1775 E. First St., reports stated.

The student said she parked her car around 4:15 a.m. and said she returned around 9:30 a.m. to find the feces.

Feces had been smeared on several spots on the car, including under the door handles.

A yellow plastic bag had also been stuffed under the hood of the student’s car.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
