The victim in yesterday’s deadly shooting has been identified as Vincent Bohlman, 19, an undeclared UA freshman.
Bohlman was found dead from gunshot trauma when TPD officers entered a house on the 2400 block of E. 3rd St. in response to a 911 call reporting the shooting shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday, said Dallas Wilson, Tucson Police Department public information officer.
The deadly shooting was triggered by an argument between the victim and an acquaintance, Wilson said.
Joseph Tylutki, 19, a resident of the home who reported the shooting, was arrested without incident inside the house.
Tylutki is being held at Pima County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder, Wilson said.
While the two men, who were acquaintances, were in Tylutki’s house, an argument ensued and it appears that Tylutki shot Bohlman, Wilson said.
Wilson declined to comment on any other details surrounding the homicide, citing “”an ongoing investigation.””
