The Arizona women’s golf team did what it has done all season long in yesterday’s first round of play at the Edean Ihlanfedlt Invitational – get off to a fast start.
The Wildcats sit in a fourth-place tie with a 17-over 305 on the Sahalee Country Club Course in Seattle.
Individually, two Wildcats finished the first round in the top 10. Senior Alison Walshe is in fourth place with an even-par 72, while junior Adriana Zwanck shot 1-over 73, good for a fifth-place tie.
Arizona has yet to finish a tournament with more than one player in the top 10.
Tournament play resumes with the second round this morning at 9.
