The Arizona women’s golf team finished the Stanford/Pepsi Intercollegiate tournament in Palo Alto, Calif., in seventh place, following an 11-over-par third round Sunday.
The Wildcats carded a 14-over-par 866.
The Pacific 10 Conference had a solid showing overall. UCLA won the tournament with an 8 under, USC finished in second at 5 under and Stanford finished third at 5 over.
UA freshman Margarita Ramos led the way for the Wildcats, as she finished in a tie for 14th place individually at 2 over. Sophomore Alejandra Llaneza (tie for 29th, 5 over), Brittany Benvenuto (tie for 32nd, 6 over), senior Amanda Wilson (tie for 38th, 7 over) and freshman Isabelle Boineau (tie for 60th, 11 over) rounded out the scoring for the Wildcats.
