ANAHEIM, Calif. — You’ve watched the Wildcats in the Big Dance, but have you seen their big man’s dance?
Kyryl Natyazhko founded “”The Realio”” a few weeks ago when he heard a song and just started flailing his shoulders and arms up and down while keeping his feet planted — as if he was going to take an offensive foul on the court.
“”That’s the new dance,”” Natyazhko said. “”That’s the new hotness.””
It didn’t catch until the Texas game. On Derrick Williams’ game-winning layup, Natyazhko went full-out “”Realio”” on the bench and although CBS cameras only caught The Realio for a split second, somebody uploaded it to YouTube.
With nearly 2,000 views, and a description that calls it “”the greatest dance move brought to man,”” will we see The Realio against Connecticut in the Elite Eight on Saturday?
“”Yes definitely. From now on, you’re going to see Realio,”” Natyazhko said.
At the end of the game?
“”At the end of the game, big time plays — Realio.””
