LGBTQ Resource Fair
Come check out organizations from all over campus and the community at the LGBTQ Resource Fair. Sponsors are Pride Alliance, ASUA, the Office of LGBTQ Affairs, the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership, SPRITE, Pride Law, MedCats and DLP. This will be happening on the UA Mall from 10 a.m. – noon.
‘Diarios de Motocicleta’
This film chronicles the journey of 23-year-old Ernesto Guevara (Iater known as Che Guevara) across South America. Through the characters they encounter on the road, Guevara and his companion learn about the injustices done to the impoverished and are exposed to people they would have never encountered in their home town. This will be showing at the Gallagher Theater at 5 p.m.
Spanish blood laws talk
Martha Few’s presentation, “”Limpieza de Sangre: Race, Religion and Purity of Blood in Colonial Mexico,”” will provide an overview of key issues and contrast purity of blood laws in Iberian Spain and colonial Mexico. This will be taking place at Special Collections in the Main Library at 6:30 p.m.
