Jayla Taft
Jayla Taft is a news desk reporter for the Fall 2025 at the Daily Wildcat. She has been a news reporter at the Wildcat since August, and primarily works on administrative issues. Jayla has a double major in Global Studies and Journalism, with dual minors in Business Administration and Latin American Studies. She also is a peer-tutor at the University of Arizona’s ThinkTank writing center since August 2024, which is a free opportunity for students to receive writing based tutoring. In her free time, she likes to spend time with family, friends, and her dogs. Post grad, she hopes to become a lawyer specializing in media law.
