Miguel Chan feeds infant daughter Maria, recovering from a head injury she received in January 2010 when Chan, desperate to save her from a fire in the family's apartment, dropped her and her brother Josias, then 2, from a third-floor window. Daniel Ignacio — who told police he was drunk and under the influence of "demons or devils" when he set the early morning fire — is serving 25 years to life for the crime.
