Arizona has a 13-7 lead over NAU at halftime

The Arizona Wildcats are winning 13-7 against the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks at halftime in Tucson, Arizona.

The defense has been the story so far for the Wildcats, forcing two fumbles along with two interceptions. Defensive linemen Kyon Barrs has had a tremendous first half, where he has one sack and two total tackles. Captain Jalen Harris has also gotten off to a fast start adding four total tackles with a tackle for a loss.

Will Plummer has looked comfortable under center for Arizona throughout two quarters, passing for 174 yards with a touchdown on 17 completions. With under two minutes remaining in the half, he threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown by the Lumberjacks.

Stanley Berryhill III has picked up where he left off last week, catching seven passes for 49 yards on seven targets. Receiver Boobie Curry finally caught his first pass of the season in tonights game while also hauling in a touchdown pass on the same drive.

The Wildcats have failed to establish a rushing attack for the second straight week, having six players touch the ball for a total of 22 yards on 13 attempts.

The Wildcats will look to get back on track in the second half with their offense matching their defensive play up until this point.
