New Mexico State (4/27)
Arizona won its first game against New Mexico State University 14-9 and scored 14 runs on 15 hits and 14 total RBI. Five Wildcats recorded multiple hits with the standout being Izzy Pacho who had four hits, one home run and two RBIs.
Carlie Scupin went 3-for-3 with Blaise Biringer and Allie Skaggs driving in three runs each. NMSU got the scoring started with two runs in the first inning, but Sharlize Palacios, Skaggs, and Pacho all hit RBI singles one after another, which brought in five runs in the second inning for Arizona. NMSU scored in the second also to make it a two-run game.
Biringer had an RBI double and Hannah Martinez had a sac-fly in the third. NMSU tied the game with two home runs in the fourth inning. Biringer hit her first two-run homer as a Wildcat to go up two. Then in the sixth inning, three more runs were added to the Wildcats total with Paige Dimler hitting a two-run homer and Janelle Meoño having an RBI walk.
NMSU hit another home run and brought in a run off of a wild pitch to make it a three-run game, but Skaggs and Pacho each iced the game with solo home runs in the seventh. Madi Elish also had a career with six strikeouts and earned the win.

New Mexico State (4/27)
Arizona run-ruled New Mexico State in the next game of the double-header 11-0. Arizona hit four home runs total.
Skaggs hit two home runs with five RBI and Dimler had four RBI. Skaggs homered in the first inning and Dimler hit a two-run homer in the second inning. In the third inning Palacios homered as well and Biringer drove in a run off an RBI single.
Skaggs hit a grand slam in the sixth inning to effectively end the game and put Arizona up 10-0 with Pacho scoring shortly after. Skaggs has two grand slams on the season and 19 home runs overall.
Fresno State (4/30)
Arizona won its first game against Fresno State University of the double-header 8-4. Scupin and Dimler hit back-to-back home runs, Palacios had three hits and one RBI, and Skaggs, Pacho and Dimler also all had two hits.
Fresno State scored an RBI single, while Pacho answered with one of her own. Arizona’s offense came alive in the second inning, scoring four runs on three RBI singles and an RBI double.
Arizona then added three more runs in the fourth inning off Scupin’s two-run homer and Dimler’s solo homer to make the score 8-1. The Bulldogs added four runs in the sixth inning due to two home runs of their own.
Fresno State (4/30)
Arizona won the second game 5-1 to sweep Fresno State. Palacios, Pacho and Dimler each hit home runs and Dimler went a career-best 3-for-3, and Palacios had two RBIs in the game as well.
Palacios, Pacho and Dimler all hit their home runs in the first inning. Palacios’ was a two-run homer to start. After the first inning, Arizona was up 4-0. Hanah Bowen held the Bulldogs scoreless and hitless through four innings.
She retired eight straight batters and recorded a career-best 11 strikeouts. Fresno State hit a solo home run for their only run of the game with Dimler icing the victory by scoring in the sixth inning to make it 5-1.
The Wildcats get back into conference play with a three-game series against the Cal Golden Bears in Berkeley.
