    Smoke, drink … shake?

    Patients who develop Parkinson’s disease are more likely to be non-smokers and consume less caffeine than those who do not develop the disease. Scientists at Duke University and the University of Miami studied hundreds of cases, and while they discovered an inverse relation between Parkinson’s and smoking and caffeine consumption, they were not sure why. Research still also suggests that Parkinson’s may be genetic.
