According to The New York Times, researchers from Ohio State University said cortisol, a stress related hormone, interferes with the healing process. There is also evidence that stress makes people vulnerable to illness.

According to The Associated Press, a Web site called Encyclopedia of Life debuted yesterday, featuring 30,000 species of animals. In just five and a half hours the site had 11.5 million visitors, causing it to crash. Visit the site at www.eol.org.
