Lee played high school basketball in Los Angeles, but
was born in Arizona. Lee’s ties to to the University of Arizona extend far
beyond just being born in the state. The most recent AAU club Lee played for
bears the name of Phoenix Suns head coach Earl Watson. Lee starred for the Earl
Watson Elite this past summer that included a championship performance for the
team at the Fab 48 17U tournament in Las Vegas.
Before that he played for the Oakland Soldiers, the same AAU
team that Stanley Johnson and Aaron Gordon were a part of. Lee has the same
athletic trainer as Gordon, and the two are close.
Lee joins DeAndre Ayton, Alex Barcello, and Brandon Randolph
as the first commitments for the 2017 Arizona recruiting class.
