    3 things to know today

    ASUA presidential hopefuls to debate

    Brad Wulff and Tommy Bruce will square off in the Associated Students of the University of Arizona Presidential Debate, scheduled for 7 tonight in the Rincon Room of the Student Union Memorial Center. The event will be the first and only time the two candidates debate.

    Orange tomatoes healthier than red

    Light-skinned tomatoes contain lycopene that is more easily absorbed than the kind in red tomatoes, according to a study in this month’s Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry. Lycopene, a cancer-fighting antioxidant, is easier for humans to absorb in lighter tomatoes.
