Student employment fair

If work’s just five minutes away or some extra peanuts in the pocket sound good, then check out the Wildcat Student Employment Fair because there could be an on-campus job with your name on it. Over 40 campus employers will set up in the North Ballroom of the Student Union Memorial Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Transfer students welcome

Come and meet fellow transfer students and other student services and academic staff who can help you transition to the UA from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the west side of the UA Mall near Old Main. Refreshments will be served.

Welcome for Wildcat parents

Students with child and elder care needs can meet staff and pick up work and life literature describing available financial, referral and sick and emergency/back-up child assistance services from noon to 1 p.m. at 1125 N. Vine.

A lesson in UA traditions

Learn how we became a university, why our colors are red and blue, who Pop McKale is, how “”A”” Mountain was built, and why we say “”Bear Down!”” 4 p.m. at the SUMC Santa Rita room.
