Raquel Rubio-Goldsmith, a Mexican American studies and research center professor, speaks to students, faculty, staff and community members about the significance of migrant deaths in relation to the Dia de Los Muertos holiday yesterday afternoon in the Adalberto Guerrero Resource Center at Chicano/Hispano Student Affairs in the CǸsar E. Chǭvez building. The C/HSA’s annual Dia De Los Muertos Student-Faculty Interaction this year featured altars made by UA students, faculty speakers and a blessing from Bishop Gerald Kicanas of the Tucson daises and attracted more than 130 people.
