The Wildcats finished last year with a record of 10-20 after a barrage of suspensions and transfers bogged down the team heading into the Pacific 10 Tournament. Ex-head coach Joan Bonvicini was fired at the conclusion of the season, finishing with an 287-223 overall record in Tucson.
