    Mosquito seminar

    Michael Riehle of the department of entomology at the UA will speak on “”The Aging Mosquito: How Insulin Signaling Impacts Lifespan and Reproduction in the Mosquito.”” This lecture will be held in the Marley building in room 230 at 3:45 p.m.

    A friend and associate of the Udalls, Boyd L. Finch offers an insider’s view of their personal contacts with some of the most significant figures of the mid-20th century, from Frost and Sandburg, to Khrushchev and Stegner in his book “”Legacies of Camelot: Stewart and Lee Udall, American Culture and the Arts.”” This event will be held at the UofA Bookstore at 4:30 p.m.

    ‘Days of Glory’ screening

    The department of French and Italian presents a screening of Rachid Bouchareb’s “”IndigÇùnes”” (Days of Glory), which shows WWII through the eyes of four North African soldiers fighting for the French army during the German occupation. This heroic guerilla group fights against impossible odds during the 1941 Nazi invasion of Russia. The film will be screened in the Manuel T. Pacheco Integrated Learning Center 120 at 7 p.m.
