Farmer’s market

Enjoy fresh food, entertainment and fun at the new location in Main Gate Square from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The market features organic locally grown and produced food, live entertainment and informative health and well-being demonstrations.

Gohlke’s photos

Ben Lifson, noted artist, critic, historian, teacher and writer, will discuss realism and vision in Frank Gohlke’s photography and, in Flannery O’Connor’s words, “”the mystery of our condition on this planet.”” This will take place in the Center for Creative Photography at 5:30 p.m.

Meet the fraternities

Enjoy a unique opportunity to meet and discover more about the UA’s historically African-American fraternities and sororities. This will be at 7 p.m. in the Tucson and Catalina room in the Student Union Memorial Center.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning author Marilynne Robinson will read from her new work of fiction at 8 p.m. in the Poetry Center in the Dorthy Rubel Room.
