In front of the national stage, Arizona didn’t play their style of game. The UCLA offense manhandled the Wildcats, scoring seven touchdowns all in the red zone.
Mistackles were evident throughout. Center Caymen Bundage had his fair share of bad snaps. However, the three turnovers were the biggest difference.
The biggest thought on the minds of Wildcat fans will be Anu Solomon, who went down in the second quarter and did not return the rest of the game with a suspected head injury. After the game, Arizona head coach Rich Rodriguez did not have an update on Solomon’s status, but said he was with the trainers.
Up next, the Wildcats travel to Palo Alto to take on Stanford. It will be interesting to see the adjustments made before then, especially since two straight losses can be detrimental to a disappointed team.
