Seasoned astronaut speaks
“”From Taylorcraft to Spacecraft,”” presented by astronaut Frank Borman. Borman will speak on his experience as a pioneer in the exploration of space and as a veteran of both the 1965 Gemini 7 Space Orbital Rendezvous with Gemini 6 and the first manned lunar orbital mission. The lecture will be held at the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering building in room S202 at 4 p.m.
Dressed to Cure
The ASUA Women’s Resource Center in collaboration with the Walking Names Project will bring Tucson a night of entertainment and fashion. “”Dressed To Cure”” will showcase many talented drag queens and present an emerging fashion artist to the community. Admission is free with a suggested donation of $15. Dress to Cure will be held at Howl at the Moon, 915 W. Prince Rd., at 7 p.m.

This striking new documentary is a commentary on globalization through the eyes of Edward Burtynsky, who creates stunningly beautiful art from civilization’s industrial materials and debris. The film will be screened at the Aerospace amd Mechanical Engineering building in room S202 at 7 p.m..
