Health insurance forum today
Students who have concerns regarding health insurance can address them to Provost George Davis and Dr. Harry McDermott, director of Campus Health Service, today at a health insurance forum. The event will take place in the Kiva Room of the Student Union Memorial Center from noon to 1 p.m., and is hosted by the Graduate and Professional Student Council. Students are encouraged to wear red shirts to symbolize their concerns.
Health food gets fishy
The benefits of eating fish outweigh the risks, according to a review published yesterday in the Journal of the American Medical Association. Although there are concerns about contamination, fish should remain part of a healthy diet – as fish lowers the risk of death from heart disease by 35 percent.
ITunes 7 lands worst upgrade award
Apple’s upgraded music player, iTunes 7, landed a spot on CNET’s Top 10 Worst Technology of Q3 2006 list after a slew of consumers reported problems with features of iTunes 7. Issues included resource hogging, freezing, deleting song files, album art issues and CD-importing problems, according to CNET.
