TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras — Twelve people were killed and 11 others injured Monday in Honduras when a bus carrying a music band collided with a lorry.
The fire department said the accident took place early Monday in northern Honduras, on the road linking El Progreso with Tela, more than 155 miles from the capital, Tegucigalpa.
All the members of the female band Chicas Zamba were killed after the bus caught fire in the crash, the fire department said.
