Another campus tradition will be enacted tonight as the campus sororities hold open house, from 8 to 11 to present their new pledges.
At Alpha Chi Omega there will be dancing to the band of Art Goldstein. A patio party, dance combo and refreshments are the program at Alpha Phi.
Delta Delta Delta will have patio party and dancing will be to the Sigma Chi Band. The Tri-Delts will feature a jungle theme for the open house.
At Alpha Epsilon Phi there will be dancing to recorded music. Alpha Xi Delta has planned an informal get-together with special entertainment. There will be a patio dance and entertainment at Chi Omega.
At Gamma Phi Beta the Kappa Sigma Band will play and special entertainment will be presented. There will be a dance combo at Kappa Alpha Theta.
Kappa Kappa Gamma will feature a dance in the patio to the music of Johnny Gower’s Band. Delta Gamma is planning a garden party. Special entertainment and the Ruben Quintero Band will be presented at the DG house. Pi Beta Phi will also have a dance.
Social chairmen in charge of the respective open houses are Marilyn Lardie, Alpha Chi Omega; Anne Pessin and Janet Kotzen, Alpha Epsilon Phi. Darlene Fields, Alpha Phi; Dee McVale, Alpha Xi Delta; Marion McDparron, Chi Omega; Pat O’Brian, Delta Delta Delta; Janie Donalson, Gamma Phi Beta; Sandra Chiono, Kappa Alpha Theta; Tucky Smith, Kappa Kappa Gamma; Susie Roads, Pi Beta Phi; and Shirley Hedges, Delta Gamma.
Next Friday night open house will be held at the UA dormitories: Coconino Hall, Pima Hall, Gila Hall, Maricopa Hall, Yuma Hall and Yavapai Hall.
