Other than California and UNLV, New Mexico, Arkansas, Fresno State and Fresno Pacific (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) round out the rest of the field.

Arizona is coming off of a promising turnout at the ITA West Regional Tournament in Malibu, Calif., in wich four Wildcats advanced to the round of 16, two weeks ago.

“”We’ve done some good things so far (this fall), and things are looking good for this weekend,”” Lloyd added.

Both Hazi and Carrasco are slated in the first flight, and VanderMerwe is slated in the second flight. In addition to singles, VanderMerwe and Hazi will also compete as a pair in the doubles bracket.
