The University of Arizona Indigicat Student Association held an all-day celebration for Indigenous Peoples’ Day with a variety of university affiliates and outside organizations on the UA Mall on Oct. 9. Traditional dances were performed, music was played and Indigenous speakers shared in recognition that Native Americans were on this land thousands of years ago.
