The Arizona Wildcats came out of the gate swinging against the University of Akron Zips during the first round of the NCAA Tournament on March 21 in Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Wash. The Wildcats started slow, even having their lead tied early on, but quickly regained their momentum with a final score of 93 to Akron’s 65. Five wildcats scored 10 points or over, with two other Wildcats, Anthony Del’Orso and Henri Veesaar just missing with nine and eight points respectively. This victory ensures they move on to the round of 32 against Oregon on Sunday, March 23.
