An unidentified man was found sleeping on the sidewalk cursing at passersby around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday in front of 422 S. Park Ave., near the intersection of North Park Avenue and East Sixth Street.

The man was using a pile of clothes as a pillow and had paper and plastic bags scattered around him. A passerby had asked if he was OK. The man responded by yelling, “”I’m fine! Leave me the fuck alone!””

Tucson Police Department Officers B. Kaczynski and Bronniman arrived at 5:43 p.m. They asked the man if he was all right. The man gave them the same response.

TPD officers said the man smelled of alcohol. They called for paramedics to examine him.

Tucson Fire Department arrived around 5:50 p.m. to inspect the man for any injuries. While being examined, the man said, “”Get the fuck out of here! Leave me alone! I don’t give a fuck of (sic) your cooking!””

Kaczynski said this was not the first time he found this man sleeping on a sidewalk in public.

After gathering the man’s clothes, TFD escorted the man into an ambulance at 6:06 p.m. to be transported to a hospital for further medical examination.
