Not only will ESPN’s College GameDay be broadcast from McKale Center for Arizona men’s basketball’s match up with UCLA, but the Wildcats will sport a new look.
The No. 7 Wildcats will wear Nike’s new Hyper Elite Disruption uniforms for the 7 p.m. game against the Bruins on ESPN. Eight programs across the country get the Hyper Elite Disruption gear: Arizona, the Baylor women, the Connecticut women, Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Oregon and Syracuse.
According to a UA News press release, Nike calls the uniforms “a collection that fuses progressive, premium materials with school heritage.” UA News also noted that each of the uniforms feature a speed graphic, and Arizona’s is supposed to feature “an evolved multi-bar graphic from its current game shorts.”
GameDay starts at 8 a.m. MST on ESPNU before switching over to ESPN at 9 a.m. GameDay also has an evening edition at 4 p.m.
Admission to GameDay is free. Doors open at 7:15 a.m., and fans are asked to enter through the ZonaZoo entrance on the west side of McKale Center.
