PASADENA, Calif. — After a touchdown to open the game, Arizona football did not score again as it lost 17-7 to UCLA at the Rose Bowl.

UCLA defeats Arizona 17-7 behind Hundley’s 320 all-purpose yards
The No. 14 Wildcats (6-2, 3-2 Pac-12 Conference) lost their second game of their last three. No. 25 UCLA (7-2, 4-2) stayed alive in the Pac-12 South title chase with the victory.
UA freshman quarterback Anu Solomon was 18-for-48 for 175 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Senior running back Terris Jones-Grigsby ran for 50 yards on 11 carries.
Sophomore linebacker Scooby Wright III recorded 4.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and 19 tackles.

The Bruins won the time of possession battle 38:09 to 21:51.
UCLA racked up 118 yards on 11 penalties.
This was the Bruins’ first win at home over a top-15 opponent since 2007.
UCLA has won three straight against Arizona.

- UCLA QB Brett Hundley rushed for a 29-yard first down conversion as the first quarter waned.
- UA LB Cody Ippolito took down UCLA LB/RB Myles Jack for a four-yard loss after the Bruins drove down to the Arizona 2-yard line, preventing a TD.
- The Bruins kicked a 24-yard field goal on the next play with 12:17 left in the first half.
- UCLA RB Paul Perkins scored a touchdown on a five-yard run with 5:34 left in the third.
- UCLA R Jordan Payton scored a touchdown on a 70-yard pass with 4:44 left in the third.
- UA K Casey Skowron missed a 39-yard field goal attempt on the next drive.
- UA S Tra’Mayne Bondurant forced a fumble that was recovered by UA S Jamar Allah at the Arizona 35-yard line with 4:32 left in the game.
- UCLA blocked a UA 26-yard field goal attempt with about two minutes left in the game.
