    3 things to know today

    Organ donor registration

    Students for Organ Donation at the UA will host Drive for Life, an organ-donor registration drive, this week in all UA residence halls to increase donation awareness and the number of donors across campus. Sign up to become a donor through your residence hall or at www.dnaz.org.

    English as a second language?

    Project Converse, a student-run organization that pairs up English speakers with those who want to learn and practice English, is offering free, one-on-one conversation English practice today from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Ventana Room of the Student Union Memorial Center.

    Explore musical pathways to peace

    Janet Sturman’s Music in World Cultures class will begin a three-day symposium today featuring presentations, performances, exhibits, poster displays and workshops that explore the role of music in promoting peace. Events will be held today, Wednesday and Friday from noon to 3 p.m. in the Harvill building, Room 315, 319, and 415.
