The No. 10 Arizona club lacrosse team held on Sunday afternoon at Murphey Field for its third straight victory since being narrowly downed by then-No. 1 Oregon two weeks ago.
The Laxcats (11-4) defeated San Diego (3-8) by a margin of 13-8. Arizona scored its 13 goals on 54 shots, but was able to fend off the Toreros by holding them to four goals in each half. The Laxcats led by a hat trick from attack Greg Polheber and two goals and one assist by midfielder Curtis Fillmore.
