A student was cited for underage drinking early Wednesday morning after police found him passed out near the Sixth Street Parking Garage, 1201 E. Sixth St., reports stated.
Police noticed the student around 4:30 a.m. and woke him up.
The student stood up but had to lean on the wall to keep from falling.
The student smelled strongly of alcohol and had red, watery eyes and slurred speech.
Police asked the student several times for his identification and the student said he couldn’t find it.
The student was covered in vomit and had disheveled clothes, reports stated.
There were two unopened beer cans on the ground.
The student thought he had been pulled over for driving drunk and told police he had drunk five beers.
Police gave the student a ride back to his dorm, reports stated.
A $100 12-gallon propane tank and a hose were taken from the Eller Deli, 1130 E. Helen St., and damaged sometime between Wednesday afternoon and early Thursday morning, reports stated.
When police arrived, a UA employee said the tank was last seen around 3 p.m. on Wednesday and said it was found in the bushes near the Sixth Street Parking Garage around 6 a.m. on Thursday.
The hose to the tank had been cut and 10 gallons of propane were missing.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
Police helped evict a student from Graham-Greenlee Residence Hall, 610 N. Highland Ave., Thursday morning after he yelled at a resident assistant, reports stated.
When police arrived around 10 a.m., the RA said when she told the student he was being evicted, he slammed his fist on her desk and yelled. The student then slammed the RA’s office door shut.
The student was allowed to get his things and was told that if he returned to the residence hall he could be cited for trespassing, reports stated.
A student’s fake ID was found in his wallet Thursday afternoon in a parking lot on East Sixth Street, reports stated.
The wallet was turned in around 1 p.m., and police contacted the student.
Police asked the student about the second driver’s license in the wallet and the student admitted it was his.
The student said he had used it two or three times to buy beer at a grocery store.
The student said he had gotten the ID from a friend, but said he didn’t remember the friend’s name.
The student was referred to the dean of students and the fake ID was placed into evidence, reports stated.
A student’s $100 light blue bike was stolen sometime between the afternoon of Feb. 28 and Thursday morning from Sky View Apartments, 1050 E. Eighth St., reports stated.
The student told police she locked her bike with a cable lock around 5 p.m. on Feb. 28 and said she discovered the bike was gone around 7:15 a.m. Thursday.
The student said there was a black basket on the handlebars and butterfly lights on the tires.
Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.
A student was cited for being under 21 and having vodka Thursday morning after police saw him with a bottle in his pocket at McKale Center, 1721 E. Enke Drive, reports stated.
Police saw the student walking down the stairs around 9:30 a.m. and saw a bottle with a red cap and clear liquid in his back pocket.
Police asked the student what it was and he took out a bottle of vodka.
The bottle had not been opened yet.
The student admitted to being under 21 and was released, reports stated.
A UA employee found a blue zippered bag with $200 in it Wednesday morning on East Second Street, reports stated.
The employee flagged down police around 7:45 a.m. and gave the bag to police.
Police could not determine who the owner of the bag was.
The bag was placed into property for safekeeping, reports stated.
