Kiara Adams, Social Media Coordinator

Kiara Adams is a senior at the University of Arizona studying journalism with a minor in government and public policy. Kiara currently serves as one of the Social Media Coordinators for the Wildcat staff managing all of the Wildcat‘s social media including Instagram, X and Facebook. Kiara has reporting experience with local news services, including Arizona Luminaria and the Daily Wildcat, as well as reporting experience in her hometown paper the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Outside of the Daily Wildcat, Kiara spends her time reading, watching movies or hanging out with friends!

Arizona mail-in ballots come with "I voted" stickers, often designed differently than the ones handed out on Election Day. For the 2022 midterm election, the last day to mail in was Nov. 1, but voters could still hand them in on Election Day at any polling stations.

After the University of Arizona's student-run College Republicans United club invited the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform to hold an anti-abortion demonstration on campus for two consecutive days, a counter-protest formed on the second day, drawing in nearly a hundred students and community members on Thursday, April 13. The counter-protest primarily centered around pro-choice beliefs, but many were also there to protest the anti-abortion group's choice of displaying large graphic images on the UA Mall depicting blood and dead people, including lynchings and photos from the Holocaust in order to equate them with abortion.
