Arizona head coach Sean Miller is reported to be on the short-list of candidates for the N.C. State head coaching opening.
The News & Observer of North Carolina reported Wolfpack athletic director Debbie Yow will target Miller following the resignation of current head coach Sidney Lowe.
Miller was an assistant coach for N.C. State under current ASU head coach Herb Sendek. Archie Miller, Sean Miller’s brother and assistant coach at Arizona, was a player for the Wolfpack from 1998-2002.
Dan Wiederer of The Fayetteville Observer also lists Miller as a potential candidate, though he says it will be a hard get for Yow.
Among the other candidates are Texas A&M head coach Mark Turgeon, Texas’ Rick Barnes and Georgia’s Mark Fox, according to The News & Observer, and The Fayetteville Observer.
