Countless mourners gather at the corner of Second Street and Euclid Avenue for a memorial service for the victims of the hit-and-run accident on Oct. 30.
Hundreds of people joined together in a memorial service to remember the three slain students of the University of Arizona on Nov. 2 at the mall. 21-year-old Katya Rosaura Castillo Mendoza, 21-year-old Sophia Akimi Troetel and 22-year-old Josiah Patrick Santos were all killed as the result of a hit-and-run on Oct. 30. The students were honored through their families and close friends, who got to share their memories. The roads were closed on University Boulevard for the event as mourners made their way down the street and to the site of the crash in order to set up a memorial for the students.
