The University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film & Television program presented “Romeo + Juliet” by William Shakespeare. The show opened on February 26 and ran until March 19 at the Tornabene Theatre. “Romeo + Juliet” featured performances by Sydney DiSabato as Juliet and Max Murray as Romeo. Directed by Brent Gibbs, the show stays true to Shakespeare’s classic tragedy, but with a Southern twist. This is Gibbs’ 50th production he’s directed at the UA and 23rd Shakespeare play.
